I'm not really sure how our little minds worked out what to do after finding the third wise man. The leaps in logic needed between one quest item/location to the next has caused me to repeatedly check many locations.

In any case I'm enjoying it overall. Glad to bring back fond memories as that's a large point of the blog.Zenic Reveriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16441583549326102945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946916641850178817.post-12466151023172830392013-07-11T08:50:50.487-07:002013-07-11T08:50:50.487-07:00I hear ya. I'm definitely into the last third of the game at this point, and need to get around to putting up another blog post. Most likely tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.Zenic Reveriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16441583549326102945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946916641850178817.post-11198337379370634592013-07-11T08:44:36.613-07:002013-07-11T08:44:36.613-07:00Oh man, Crystalis... good luck with that one! Still, though, at least the story's pretty neat for its time... hope you have some fun with it. :)gaiageshttp://weneedmoreblogs.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946916641850178817.post-55988546318599975662013-07-07T09:36:03.327-07:002013-07-07T09:36:03.327-07:00This game is one I recall very fondly. Crystalis just resonated with both of us, and the other game - well, obviously been forgotten.Chalgyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10879608925209948366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946916641850178817.post-41958420334208487912013-07-07T07:04:21.677-07:002013-07-07T07:04:21.677-07:00"The first time this happened I realized I ha..."The first time this happened I realized I hadn't saved since I started playing. All that progress lost? No, luckily the game has an auto-save feature. Selecting 'continue' from the title will restore your character to the last safe screen (or close enough). I believe that's a first time I've seen this in an RPG on the NES, and it saved me an hour of getting through all of the above again."

The Legend of Zelda -sort of- works like that (though with a different logic for selecting where you start after loading). It's not an RPG, but it wouldn't surprise me that Crystalis was following its lead. killias2https://www.blogger.com/profile/00398131197947456691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4946916641850178817.post-70168546390819074912013-07-06T12:26:23.300-07:002013-07-06T12:26:23.300-07:00Hope you're enjoying your run :)Hope you're enjoying your run :)sarah penguinnoreply@blogger.com
